In-house phlebotomy appointments are for: .
- Over 65s
- Chemotherapy patients having blood monitoring
- Any patient on the high-risk drugs register, eg methotrexate, azathioprine, ciclosporin
- Diabetics
- Frail
All other patients are to be sent the AccuRx ‘swift queue’ template and raise blood forms for both ENH and Barnet.
Patients are asked on the updated text to collect their blood test forms from reception at either site to take to their appointment.
